Hello, I am a tile setter who has always used cement board such as Durock, Wonderboard, etc. I have heard good things about Denshield but am skeptical of using such a lightweight board. Has anyone out there used it before and would they recommend it?

RE: Denshield
Hello,

Denshield is an excellent product. I have used it for many years. It is lightweight, cuts like drywall with a simple razor knife, and is very easy to install. Not only that but it has a built in moisture barrier. Cement board on the other hand will actually allow moisture to pass through and will even wick and hold water like a sponge. I strongly recommend you try Denshield. According to the manufacturer you can use in on both walls and floors.
