Industry Certification

National Institute of Certified Floorcovering Inspectors
Non–profit association of independent floor covering inspectors. NICFI members are expert flooring failure analysts and
expert witnesses in flooring problems and failures.
RFCI – Resilient Floor Covering Institute
RFCI was established to support the interests of the total resilient floor covering industry and the people who use its
products and offers resilient floor covering certification.
WFCA
– World Floor Covering Association
Promoting professional development through certification and providing its retailer members the business tools and resources
to increase profitability.

CFI – Certified Floorcovering Installers
Certifies professional installers who will provide customers with an installation of which they can be proud for many years.
Focus on carpet, but also some hard surfaces.
Institution of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification
An institute that offers certifications for carpet cleaners, inspectors, and more.
Natural Fiber Flooring Installation Certification
